Ultrasonic atomization uses ultrasonic directional pressure to make the liquid surface bulge, and cavitation occurs around the bulging liquid surface, causing the liquid to be atomized into small molecular mist. The oscillation frequency of the ultrasonic atomizer is 1.7MHz or 2.4MHz, which exceeds the human hearing range. The electronic oscillation is harmless to humans and animals. The equipment breaks up the liquid water molecule structure through the high-frequency resonance of the ceramic atomizer to produce a natural and elegant water mist. In addition, a large amount of negative ions will be released during the atomization process, which will produce an electrostatic reaction with the smoke, dust, etc. floating in the air, causing them to precipitate.

If drugs are to be ultrasonically nebulized, the following prerequisites must be met:

1) It must be water-soluble. If it is insoluble in water, a surfactant or emulsifier needs to be added to dissolve the drug in water before ultrasound.

2) The atomized liquid inhaled through the lungs needs to be aseptically processed, which is technically difficult.

3) The particle size of the atomized water mist needs to be less than 5um, and it needs to be studied in combination with drugs.
