VPLUS new medical and health drug delivery system

E-cigarettes have rapidly become popular around the world since their launch, with more and more people switching from traditional tobacco smoking to the use of e-cigarettes. Some studies have shown that e-cigarettes can alleviate cravings and withdrawal symptoms, help reduce smoking and even quit smoking. In recent years, there has been no lack of research on nicotine, and some research teams have even revealed the mechanism by which chronic low-dose nicotine can improve energy metabolism and delay systemic aging.

E-cigarette is a nicotine delivery system. In traditional e-cigarettes, it generally consists of a nicotine concentrated liquid cartridge, an atomizer with a heating element, and a battery-driven device. An electric heating element is used to heat a solution containing chemicals such as nicotine, lipids, and flavors to produce an aerosol that can be inhaled by the user and simulate traditional cigarette smoke.

Although e-cigarettes have been promoted as a nicotine replacement method, their adverse effects and safety have always been controversial.

Currently known e-cigarette liquid ingredients may contain: nicotine, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), vitamin E acetate, propylene glycol, glycerin, flavorings, lipids, heavy metal particles and other harmful substances.

Multiple reports in the United States have shown that e-cigarettes containing THC are closely linked to related lung injuries. Studies have shown that e-cigarettes were detected in bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) samples of 94% of patients with e-cigarette-related lung injuries. THC or its metabolites were found, thus inferring that THC plays an important role in causing disease. In addition, the added ingredient in e-cigarettes, vitamin E acetate, is also closely related to the disease.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that vitamin E acetate can be detected in e-cigarette products. At the same time, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid from 51 patients with e-cigarette-related lung injury and 99 healthy controls was tested and found that 48 Vitamin E acetate was identified in BAL specimens from 94% of patients (94%), while no vitamin E acetate was identified in BAL specimens from healthy controls. The mechanism of toxicity of vitamin E acetate is unknown but may be related to by-products of its pyrolysis.

Therefore, if we can find a new nicotine delivery system that does not require heating and reduces complex formulations, we can ensure efficient delivery while further improving safety.

  • Scientific formulation
  • Delivery at room temperature

Atomize at normal temperature to avoid potential changes in the composition of the formula caused by high temperatures and reduce risks caused by uncertain factors.
